The Deosai National Park is located between Skardu, Gultari, Kharmang and Astore Valley, in Gilgit-Baltistan Region of Northern Areas of Pakistan. In Urdu language Deosai means ‘the Land of Giants’. Balti people called it ‘Ghabiarsa’ because it is accessible only in summer. We offer a Astore and Deosai Plains Tour Package for travelers. Nanga Parbat Rupal face trek taking you through lush green potato fields of Rupal valley to the base camp within 5-6 hours trek where one can see the massive peak of Nanga Parbat from a close distance. On this trek, we offer some options whether to return from base camp or carry on to Mazino Pass 5,400 m the highest point of Nanga Parbat Rupal face trek which is the most challenging part of this trek but offers truly stupendous sights of this Himalayan giant.

Tour Plan

– Departure from Islamabad and drive to Astore via Abbottabad and Mansehra. Breakfast at Moon restaurant – Enjoy a scenic drive through beautiful valleys, passing by Lulusar Lake. – Stop at Babusar Pass for a short rest and capture the surreal beauty of one of the highest passes in the world. – Continue the drive towards Diamer district, crossing the Karakoram Highway. – Reach Astore and overnight stay at Astore.

– Breakfast at 6:00 am. – Depart for Minimarg on a jeep. – Arrival in Minimarg at 1:00 pm. – Explore Minimarg and Rainbow Lake. – Overnight camping at Minimarg.

– Have breakfast at 6:30 am and visit Sheosar Lake. – Explore Deosai, visit Twin Lakes and Murtaza Lake with a 4.5-hour hike. – Arrive at the campsite at 6:00 pm. – Enjoy a dinner of at 8:00 pm.

– Breakfast at 6:00 am. – Departure for Nanga Parbat Rupal Face vist latabao lake and retrace back to Herlin-Kofer – Night stay at Harling Kofer, just below the mighty Nanga Parbat (camping). – Dinner at 9:00 pm.

– Breakfast at 6:00 am. – Deprture for Batakundi. – Arrival Batakundi 7:00Pm. – Dinner at 9:00 pm.
