Overview

The K2 Basecamp trek is a dream trek for anyone associated with trekking and adventure. One of the most rewarding treks in the heart of the Karakoram, this trek offers a window of opportunity to view some of the world’s highest peaks, including K2 (8,611m), the second-highest peak in the world. The entire trip is completed in almost 14 days from Skardu to Skardu, including 9 days of trekking. The trek also includes crossing the high-altitude Ghondogoro La (5,940m), which connects the Baltoro valley with the Hushe valley. This is a strenuous trek that requires physical fitness, good stamina, and prior trekking experience.

– Departure from Islamabad towards Chillas via Babusar Pass: 11:30 PM – Breakfast at Moon Restaurant, Besal Naran: Enjoy a delicious meal amidst picturesque surroundings. – Short Stay at Lulusar Lake: Take a moment to admire the serene beauty of Lulusar Lake. – Visit Gitidas Meadows: Explore the lush green expanse of Gitidas Meadows, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. – Continue the journey towards Babusar Pass: Witness the stunning vistas and panoramic landscapes. – Arrival in Astore: Check-in at the hotel and relax. – Dinner at 8:00 PM: Savor a delightful dinner at the hotel, filled with local flavors and cuisines.

Breakfast at 07:00 AM guests will depart from Hotel at 08:00 AM and drive towards Rama Meadows passing through the beautiful valleys and scenic landscape. – We’ll visit the beautiful Rama Lake and spend some time exploring the area. – “Starry Nights and Scenic Delights: Camping at Rama Meadows, Dinner Under a Billion Stars 8:00 PM

– Guests will have breakfast at Rama Meadows at 7:00 am. – We’ll depart for Deosai National Park, one of the highest plateaus in the world. – We’ll explore the stunning landscapes, meadows, and wildlife of Deosai. : Majestic Deosai Delights! Camping under a billion stars near Sheosar Lake, an enchanting wilderness awaits.” – Dinner will be served at 8:00 pm.

– Guests will have breakfast at 6:00 am and depart for Minimarg, the last village of Pakistan before the Indian border. – We’ll visit the village and explore its unique culture and way of life. – We’ll then head towards the basecamp of Kargil and spend some time admiring the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. – We’ll also visit the famous Rainbow Lake of Minimarg, known for its incredible natural beauty and vibrant colors. Here we will have a tea party at Rainbow Lake. – In the evening, we’ll return to the Campsite in Astore and have dinner there at 9:00 pm.
